AXEL8888 is an app for truck drivers and transport companies: the driver photographs delivery and weighing documents, their details are read automatically and saved, and monthly reports and Excel files are made from them. This page explains what information is collected, why, and how it is kept.

What we collect

• Account details: name, phone number, email (optional) and the company the driver works for.
• Receipts: photos of the documents the driver takes or chooses, and their details (document number, date, customer, material, weights, loading place and destination, carrier and truck number), plus the price, notes and transport office the driver adds.
• Truck numbers set by the office for a driver or company.
• Payments: the kind of payment, its amount and date. Card details are entered on the payment company's secure page and never reach or stay with us.

The app uses the camera and photo library only to take or choose documents, when the driver asks. We do not collect location, contacts or other phone data.

How it is used

To keep the driver's receipts, show them in the app and make reports and Excel files; for the driver's company, to see its drivers' receipts, approve monthly registers and make reports by truck or driver; to read the document's details from its photo; and to manage plans, packs and payments. We do not sell information, use it for advertising, or share it beyond the service providers below.

Service providers

DigitalOcean (server, database and photo storage, in a data center in Frankfurt, EU); Google Cloud Vision (reading the text of a document photo); OpenAI (telling which text is which field: only the document's text and photo are sent); Paddle (company payments on the web panel: Paddle is the Merchant of Record, takes the payment, issues the invoice and keeps the card details); Apple App Store, Google Play and RevenueCat (private drivers' in-app purchases: the store takes the payment and RevenueCat confirms the purchase to us).

Storage and security

All communication is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as secure hashes, and sign-in details on the phone are kept in the operating system's secure storage. Photos are kept in private storage, never at a public link. Each company sees only its own drivers and receipts, and each driver only their own. The app shows the last 3 months; receipts are kept on the server while the account is active, for reports.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information and account. Name, phone and email can be changed in the app under "My profile". For any other request: axel8888.app@gmail.com.

Deleting your account

In the app: "My profile" > "Delete account", and confirm with your password. The account is deleted at once.

Or by email:

1. Email axel8888.app@gmail.com from the account's email address, or write the account's phone number. A company driver can also ask their company.
2. Before deleting, we make sure the request comes from the account's owner.
3. Within 30 days we delete the account: name, phone, email, receipts and document photos.

What stays: payment records are kept as long as the law requires (invoices and accounts). A company driver's receipts already approved in the company's monthly register stay with the company, as part of its records.
